Can I walk in for a tattoo today?
Yes. More Tattoo Studio takes walk-ins every day from 9am to 7pm, with no deposit, on the 2nd floor of 12 Cat Linh, Dong Da, about 3 minutes on foot from the Temple of Literature. Three artists take walk-ins, so couples and small groups can often be tattooed the same day. Message us before you come and we'll save you a time.
Do I need a deposit?
Same-day tattoos from a ready design: no deposit. If we draw a design for you in advance: 100,000 VND for small fine line or lettering, 500,000 VND for small graphic, blackwork or realism, 10% for bigger pieces. It comes off your final price.
How much is a small tattoo?
Small pieces are priced by size: lettering about 5 cm from 400,000 VND, fine line about 5 cm from 500,000 VND. We tell you the price before we start. Cash or bank transfer, in Vietnamese dong.
How long does a tattoo take?
Small: 30 minutes to 1 hour. Medium: 2–3 hours. Big pieces are split into several sessions. You can take a break any time.
Can you draw my own idea?
Yes. Send us the pictures you like and tell us why you like them. We redraw it to fit your size and body. Nothing goes on your skin until you've seen the design and said yes.
Is it clean and safe?
Needles and ink caps are used once and thrown away. We open them in front of you.
How do we get to the 2nd floor?
We're on the 2nd floor of 12 Cat Linh, about 3 minutes on foot from the Temple of Literature. Can't find us? Call or WhatsApp +84 567 889 696 and someone will come down to meet you.
What should I wear?
Sleep well, eat, drink water. Wear something dark and loose so we can reach the spot easily and ink won't mark your clothes. No sunscreen on the spot that day.
Beach, sun, flight after a tattoo?
Swimming and the sea are best after one week. Keep it out of the sun while it heals. If a beach is in your plan, go before your session. Flying is fine.
My new tattoo looks blurry. Is that normal?
Yes. A fresh tattoo is swollen and looks different from a healed one. Give it about a month to show its real look. If any spot fades, we touch it up for free, for life.
Can you fix or cover my old tattoo?
Send us a clear photo. It depends on the design, but usually we fix the old one. Covering it is the last option, when you don't like it anymore or there's no other way.

For a full sleeve, back or leg we give you one price for the whole piece once we've seen your idea, the placement and the size, worked out at our artists' rate. It's agreed before we start.
Approve your design
Want a custom design drawn ahead? A deposit holds it, and your date: 100,000 VND for small fine line or lettering, 500,000 VND for small graphic, blackwork or realism, 10% for bigger pieces. It isn't refundable, and it comes off the price of your first session. Need to move your date? No charge. Ready-made designs: walk in, no deposit.
Sending it from abroad? Wise is the easiest way. We give you our bank details, and it usually arrives within one or two working days.
We then draw a design just for you. The first design reaches you within 3 to 5 days of your deposit, and each round of changes within 3 days. Three rounds of changes are included; from the fourth, each round adds 2.5% of the price. Nothing is tattooed until you say yes.

Full sleeve, back or leg: we give you one price for the whole piece once we've seen your idea, the placement and the size. It's worked out at our artists' rate of 1 million VND an hour (about US$38), and agreed before we start.
The back piece at the top of this page was tattooed at More. It took first place for Best of Graphic/Fineline at Vietnam Inkfinity 2026.
Prices are set in Vietnamese dong. Dollar figures are rounded, at roughly 26,000 dong to the US dollar.
How to pay? Bank transfer or cash, in Vietnamese dong. We don't take cards or foreign currency yet. No Vietnamese bank account? You can pay through Wise.
One design, three rounds of changes
Every piece comes with one design, drawn for you. That is part of the price.
Three rounds of changes are included. From the fourth, each round adds 2.5% of the price. Send all your notes in one go, and the design gets there faster.
We'll tell you plainly what fits
Large work takes more than one session; the back piece above took twelve. Skin also takes ink less well when it's tattooed many days in a row, and forcing it does harm, so we plan big projects around that. We tattoo two days, rest one day, then carry on.
A graphic full sleeve usually takes 6 to 8 sessions, and a session runs 6 to 8 hours. On a two-week trip, that rhythm gives ten sessions at most.
The first design takes 3 to 5 days after your deposit. Send the deposit and approve the design before you fly, and we can start the day you land.
Tell us how long you're in Vietnam and we'll say what's realistic: the whole piece, a first stage, or something smaller.
One guest from Germany booked two months ahead for a Vietnamese dragon. Another had a dragon drawn freehand and tattooed in one day, and flew out that night.
Vietnamese motifs
Lý and Trần dynasty dragons, bronze drums, lotus, Lady Triệu on her elephant: these are motifs we draw often. Every design is made for one person. We don't copy other artists' work.

Aftercare, the short version
If we cover your tattoo with a film, keep it on for three days and put nothing on it. Then take it off, wash with clean water and let it air dry. A day or two later, start a very thin layer of moisturiser. It will itch. Please don't scratch.
Showering with clean water is fine; keep soap off the tattoo. Keep it out of strong sun while it heals. Swimming and the sea are best after one week. So if a beach is in your plan, go before your session. Flying is fine.
If anything hurts in an unusual way, message us right away.
We go through all of this with you before you leave the studio.
Free touch-ups, for life
If any part heals faded or uneven, we touch it up for free, whatever the reason. Adding something new is priced separately.
